On the trail you will meet Finnish forest dwellers, learn the secrets of the Finnish forest and its health effects.

Homemade breakfast
Every morning, Viivi makes an homemade breakfast. She carefully cooks up favorites like fluffy pancakes or savory omelets with fresh veggies and gooey cheese.
Viivi uses local ingredients for the authenticity of flavor. A nicely set table with fruits, flowers, and her artistic touch. Viivi loves cooking, and her homemade breakfasts are a simple, tasty celebration each day.

Sauna
After a day in the snow or walking around lakes, the sauna is the best way to relax. It helps your muscles feel better. If you visit during winter, running in the snow is a fun Finnish experience you should try. It’s a great way to end your day feeling refreshed and cozy. Viivi can show you how it’s done and make your time even more enjoyable.
You can take some time in the heat of the sauna and after, go swimming in the lake which may be icy, depending on the season. This experience is good for the body. In Finland, these are our natural beauty products!

Souvenir shop
The products are handmade (jams, knives, socks, etc.) and are carefully made by Viivi and her family. Within the Guesthouse, Viivi is responsible for the sale of these products, thus offering an authentic and direct experience to visitors. Each item sold carries Viivi’s personal touch, reflecting her dedication to craftsmanship and authenticity.

Mini farm
Staying at the Northern Light Guesthouse means you get to meet many friendly animals. There are sheep and dogs you can pet. You can even ask Viivi if you can help feed them one day. It’s a nice way to enjoy the company of animals during your visit. Viivi will be happy to share this experience with you.

Parking
There’s a parking space for each customer right in front of the house. It makes it easy for everyone to park their cars when they visit. You won’t have to worry about finding a spot – it’s right there for you. Viivi and the Northern Light Guesthouse want to make your stay convenient and enjoyable.
